If 2 teams are on level points at the end of the season, how will the postions be decided?

in la liga its head to head.so how is it in the epl.....if chelsea and man u are on level points or man city and tottenham ?If 2 teams are on level points at the end of the season, how will the postions be decided?
Then the different of goal is counted(No of goal score - no of goal conceded)

the team with better different of goal get the top placeIf 2 teams are on level points at the end of the season, how will the postions be decided?
it goes on goal difference and then if that is the same i think it goes on who ever won more games
In England, it's pretty straight forward. Better goal difference.

Frankly, that's the way it suppose to be.

A team should be measure through the whole season. And not just about two games. Every club goes through injuries, suspensions and harsh refereeing decisions. Measuring just the head to head record only means who was better on the day.
In the EPL it goes like this...

1. Goal difference

2. Goals scored (most goals scored finishes ahead)

3. Playoff at neutral venue to decide winner
